This morning, January 8, 2009, my daddy went to be with the Lord. His passing was very easy, very peaceful. He wasn't in pain, nor was he suffering, he simply went to sleep.

Thank you for all of the calls, cards, prayers and support you've offered my family over the past 4 months. We are truly blessed to have such wonderful friends and family.

Matthew 25:23 "Well done my good and faithful servant".

Rest in peace Daddy. I love you.

We are so sorry to hear about your Sherril. He was such a nice & sweet man and he will surely be missed!!! I have always appreciated how both Sherril & Peggy treated me when I worked with them @ the daycare. I know that he was a great husband, father and grandfather to all of you. But, just remember that he is definitely in a greater place right now and celebrating!!! He is having such a better life now and will be waiting on everyone to join him in Heaven one day!!

Please let us know if anyone in the family needs anything.

Amy, there are no words to say how we all feel. Sherrill was a very special man, and we loved him so very much! Just know that our thoughts and prayers are with Peggy, Scott, yourself, and your families. I can't imagine what you all must be going through right now. Just know that we are praying for you all, and we love you all very much! My daddy is not well enough for such a long trip right now, but we hope to still plan on having that reunion this summer if your mom is up to it. I wish we lived closer! I want to give you all a big hug. We love you ! Keep the faith, and remember that your daddy is in heaven, walking with Jesus.

Sherrell and Peggy have been beloved friends of mine since the day we met! I enjoyed talking with them, praising the lord with them and getting to know them more and more! I remember working with Sherrell, him teaching me many things and showing me how to work for the Lord with love, passion and dedication! I apreciate so much his friendship and will never forget how loving and kind his hospitality was with me and my church family! I wish I can hug him just one more time, but I know that one day we will all be reunited, together with our Lord for eternity! Peggy, I love you just as much and pray that God may give you the peace you need for this difficult time. Thank you all for everything and I hope to see you all soon!!! I love you all, your brother and friend, Peter.

Amy and family, this is the first time I have left a message on your blog. I wanted to let you all know if there is anything that Heather and I can do, big or small, please let us know. Imagine what he is now doing in Heaven, " I could only Imagine." Love you all!
