Dad had his chemo yesterday (Tuesday). So far so good. He's extremely tired, which is to be expected, but overall he's doing good. His appetite is hit and miss. They've given him new medicine to increase his appetite, and I think it's helping a little. He's more talkative, and seems to be in a better mood, but is still just really tired.

As for the pain in his back, the doctor said you can only have that injection every three months, so we'll have to wait a few more weeks before he can have it again. Until then, he'll just take pain meds. It's not ideal, but we'll take it.

Love you all~

You are all in our thoughts and prayers ALWAYS! I know the toll chemo can take. Your daddy is strong, and he will make it through this! My family sends their love to all of you.

Amy - thanks so much for creating this blog site where I can keep up with your dad. Thanks also for sending the link to our church. Your dad is my special friend and we have been praying for him every day since we heard the news! Sherrill - be strong and know that so many people love you!! I sure miss seeing that smile at church and I know that I am not alone! I am looking forward to your recovery and return..... until then you will continue to be at the top of my prayer list!!

Love you!
